Shocking images showed the pro-Trump mob who invaded the US Capitol ransacking its historic decor — grabbing everything from a podium to chairs.

After storming the legislative home of the government Wednesday, disrupting the certification of Joe Biden’s presidential win, rioters were seen outside passing a lamp, drawer and chair around the crowd.

In one extraordinary photo, a protester was seen waving as he carried a podium with the seal of the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi in the Rotunda.

Another protester, Richard Barnett, gamely posed outside with an envelope addressed to a Missouri congressman after he was seen lounging in the speaker’s office.

Barnett, 60, argued that he didn’t steal the letter meant for Republican Rep. Billy Long because he had left some change on Pelosi’s desk.

“I didn’t steal it. I bled on it because they were macing me and I couldn’t f—ing see,” Barnett said in an interview with New York Times reporter Matthew Rosenberg.

“So I figure, ‘Well, I’m in her office, I got blood in her office, I’ll put a quarter on her desk even though she ain’t f—ing worth it,’” he added.

Other rioters were captured in the act wandering around lawmakers’ private offices and rummaging through their desks.

The Associated Press also reported that its crew had equipment stolen and destroyed.

None of the valuable works of art — including sculptures, paintings and plaques — housed in the Capitol appear to have been looted.
