<\/p>\nA couple who got engaged after six days and began trying for a baby within two weeks say they've never listened to haters. <\/p>\n
Jenny Koos, 36, and Lovemark Boadu, 44, met at a party in July 9, 2021, after their mutual DJ friend set them up.<\/p>\n
The pair said they were \u201cdrawn\u201d to each other as they knew it felt right by the end of the night and discussed wanting to have a child together.<\/p>\n

Six days later they found rings in one of Jenny\u2019s drawers and decided to get engaged.<\/p>\n

Knowing they wanted a child together and started trying for a baby after just two weeks of dating and following two miscarriages they fell pregnant in September 2021.<\/p>\n
They were told their baby had heterotaxy syndrome at the 20-week scan \u2013 a rare syndrome where organs in the chest and abdomen have abnormalities or are in different positions.<\/p>\n
But the couple said the worries surrounding it \u201cpropelled\u201d their relationship and their little girl was born completely healthy on June 7, 2022.<\/p>\n
Jenny, a fertility awareness educator, from Malm\u00f6, Sweden, said: \u201cHis face was the first face I saw. I was just drawn to him.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe were talking, and then we were dancing and then nothing else existed.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe put together our children and made this a family within weeks of meeting.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt may seem crazy, but we had all these friends in common, vouching for us.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt wasn\u2019t a random stranger.\u201d<\/p>\n
Lovemark, a teacher, added: \u201cI felt the same way she felt. I thought: 'Oh s**t who is that?'<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was a deeper connection at first sight. I knew this is the one.\u201d<\/p>\n
Both Jenny and Lovemark were both divorced and had four children between them from previous relationships – aged six, nine, 10 and 13.<\/p>\n
They had both been working on \u201cpersonal growth\u201d and knew they didn\u2019t want to get into anything \u201cmessy\u201d.<\/p>\n
Jenny said: \u201cOur friend told me to come to this party he was DJing at.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe told Lovemark \u2018Jenny is going to be there, and you guys are going to vibe\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe both knew we would like each other.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut I don\u2019t think he knew how much we would click.<\/p>\n
"He probably didn\u2019t expect the call the next day saying \u2018oh, we\u2019re going to get married\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n
After meeting the pair spent the night talking and dancing together \u2013 covering all topics and eventually working out they were both single.<\/p>\n
Jenny explained: \u201cWe talked about everything at that night.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe really went through everything. The financial aspects, history, break-ups.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt wasn\u2019t silly love.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter we had all those important conversations, I just told him \u2018I\u2019m just going to give you a child\u2019 and he said \u2018yes, you will\u2019. This is for life.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat was it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jenny met Lovemark\u2019s family three days later and he met her relatives two weeks later when they came back from a holiday.<\/p>\n
Jenny said: \u201cIn my mind we got engaged the first night because we said 'this is it'.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe found a couple of rings in a drawer after five days \u2013 that were my grandmother's old rings \u2013 so we put them on.\u201d<\/p>\n
They started trying to conceive a baby after two weeks of dating and, following two early miscarriages, they found out they were expecting in September 2021.<\/p>\n
At the 20-week scan their unborn daughter, now one, was diagnosed with heterotaxy syndrome and had to decide whether to terminate the pregnancy or not.<\/p>\n
They decided to go ahead with scans every week for the remainder of the pregnancy but didn\u2019t know how she would be impacted until the birth.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey were pretty crass and dire about it," Jenny said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe were extremely worried for her.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt propelled the relationship even deeper.<\/p>\n
\u201cMiraculously she isn\u2019t impacted.\u201d<\/p>\n
Their daughter was born on June 7, 2022, and spent a month in neonatal while they ran tests to check she was OK.<\/p>\n
Jenny said: \u201cShe\u2019s a love child. We went headfirst into being parents.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s been very intense. It\u2019s a very blissful state.\u201d<\/p>\n
The parents \u201chaven\u2019t had the chance\u201d to tie the knot but hope to have a proper big wedding in the next few years.<\/p>\n
Jenny said: \u201cWe got married on the day we decided to keep her.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere is no ceremony that could be bigger than us.\u201d<\/p>\n
Their family and friends have mostly been supportive of the relationship \u2013 as the pair have lots of mutual friends who could see their connection.<\/p>\n
Lovemark said: \u201cSome people were like 'are you sure?'<\/p>\n
\u201cBut they saw how I was behaving.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jenny added: "We're showing that is is possible. Happiness and love doesn't have to be polished.<\/p>\n
"It's not luck. It's lucky we met but we did a lot of mindful work on ourselves to get here."<\/p>\n
