A WOMAN who hoped for a relaxing bath was left stressed after she claims her Lush bath bomb left her tub stained bright yellow.

Victoria uploaded a video showing her bath with a yellow residue and said she had no idea how she was going to remove it.

In a clip which has racked up 22,000 likes, Victoria said: “I have officially used the most horrendous Lush bath bomb on the planet.

“Look at all that staining.”

The bottom of the tub and the sides were completely covered in a glittery yellow coating.

Victoria, who calls herself a “Lush extraordinaire” and “queen of bath bombs”, filmed herself trying in vain to scratch off the colouring.

She continued on her @victoriacanavan account: “I don’t know how I’m even going to get it off as it’s dried onto the side of the tub.”

One Lush fan asked in the comments if it was their “Golden slumbers” product, and she confirmed it was.

Many people were quick to add their views, with one saying: “Don’t you clean the bathtub straight after using it ? It’s never stained for me.”

Another added: “Dry the pink stuff scrub leave on for 20 mins then rinse with hot water.”

</picture>

</picture>

</picture>

</picture>

And a third commented: “I feel like I'm the only person who has never had Lush of anything stain. It has to be what the tubs are made of.”

Meanwhile, one person wrote: “The black rose did the same to my bath.”

A Lush spokesperson told Fabulous: "When our products dissolve the concentrated colours are released, dispersing in the bathwater.

"If they come into direct contact with the skin temporary discolouration can occur.

"We recommend allowing our bath bombs to fully fizz and disperse before entering the tub for a relaxing soak.

"Please be assured that the colours we use are of a cosmetic grade and any discolouration will be temporary, fading over time with regular use/washing.

"To help speed up the removal process a light paste can be created by mixing a little baking soda or sugar with lemon juice and gently massaging into the affected area using circular motions and rinsed away."

Most read in Fabulous
