Property presenter Sarah Beeny’s teenage sons posed up a storm on the catwalk this week as they took part in a sustainable fashion show – and even got a seal of approval from King Charles.

Billy, 19 and Charlie, 17, wore outrageous outfits and eccentric, mohawk-style haircuts at One Hundred Shoreditch Hotel in London, where the design duo Vin + Omi unveiled their Omnia collection in collaboration with the monarch.

As they turned heads among the crowd with their outlandish get-ups, they made one audience member incredibly proud – their mother.

After a gruelling breast cancer battle which saw her undergo a double mastectomy, Sarah vowed to ‘enjoy the good times’ when she received the all-clear in April.

And she certainly got into the swing of the occasion this week as she watched her teen sons strut their stuff on the catwalk.

‘When I saw my sons walking, I thought, “Wow, they look fabulous” Beeny told the Daily Mail’s Diary Editor Richard Eden.

‘They both had tall hair and when we got back to the flat where we were staying, they both got in bath and tried to wash the wax off, but it was still in the same style.

‘I told them to try use some Fairy Liquid that might be helpful. How it can defy gravity is so cool.’

The show was a particularly poignant occasion for the Property Ladder star, 51, who reveals that she suffered another serious illness after her breast operation.

‘I missed the last two Vin + Omi shows because one I had cancer treatment for chemotherapy and the other one, I had contracted septicaemia after my mastectomy.’

Billy and Charlie play in a rock band called Entitled Sons with their father, artist Graham Swift, and brothers, Rafferty, 15, and Laurie, 13. They performed at this year’s Glastonbury festival.

‘I feel like you have to enjoy the good times because my kids have a band together and they’ve got a UK tour and two of them a modelling for Vin + Omi for a cause that’s important,’ Beeny said.

‘I’m a lucky mother. I have to thank Vin + Omi for inviting them to do it.’

The pre-London Fashion Week show was a world-first as the design duo unveiled their Omnia collection in collaboration with the King.

The finale saw the pair present a beige dress on the runway created from giant butterbur, a sustainable fabric exclusively sourced from His Majesty’s private Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.
