<\/p>\nLINDA Carter makes a worrying discovery about Alfie Moon in EastEnders. <\/p>\n
The character – played by Kellie Bright – has become firm friends with Alfie (Shane Richie) in recent months. <\/p>\n

Last month, Alfie found out he could be at risk of prostate cancer after being forced to go to hospital<\/span>. <\/p>\n Sadly for the character, his diagnosis has been confirmed, however, he has chosen to keep it from his friends and family. <\/p>\n But in an upcoming episode, Linda figures out something is amiss and rushes to Alfie's side. <\/p>\n Alfie ends up telling Phil Mitchell that he's got prostate cancer, after the two men clash on the day of Phil's wedding to Kat Slater, Alfie's ex. <\/p>\n Phil is left in disbelief when Alfie reveals he's having a prostatectomy that day.<\/p>\n As Alfie heads off to the hospital, Phil arrives at the registry office late, and Kat panics when she realises her ex-husband isn't with him. <\/p>\n Meanwhile, Linda learns about Alfie\u2019s hospital visit from Mitch, and after putting two and two together, arrives to support him with his prostatectomy.<\/p>\n EastEnders is working alongside\u00a0Prostate Cancer UK\u00a0and\u00a0Macmillan Cancer Support, as well as experts in the field to ensure the storyline is portrayed as accurately and as sensitively as possible.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\nRead More on EastEnders<\/span><\/h2>\n
