There's no doubt about it, former Love Island star Camilla Thurlow is living her best life with husband Jamie Jewitt and their two daughters, Nell and Nora.

But the 34 year old is also the first to admit that when it comes to raising two little ones under the age of three, things can be a little overwhelming.

The important thing though, Camilla explains in an exclusive interview with OK!, is trying not to put pressure on yourself if something goes wrong.

"Whether you're in the spotlight or not, there is so much pressure on making sure you do the right thing as a mum," Camilla said. "You just want to know your baby is happy, and that they’re soothed and comforted."

"Once you figure out what's right for your family, in terms of a routine, it's important to focus on that. Not all babies are the same and not all families are the same – it's about finding the right thing for you."

But the star also credits Jamie, her husband of two years and who she met on Love Island, for being a great hands-on Dad that helps out with two year old Nell and one year old Nora.

"Jamie and I are a team," she said. "It’s good to be a team, especially if it's going to be the two of them versus the two of us [laughs].

And, having that support system, is what helped Camilla make the transition from one to two babies, especially during a difficult period in lockdown.

She said, "I think everything comes down to timing. Nell was born during lockdown and there were obviously restrictions in place, so we didn't really get to see anyone when she was first born. It was an amazing time but also very overwhelming trying to get used to such a big change in your life.

"Then, when Nora came along, I felt like I knew what to expect. Having that experience really helped me because I'm a planner and I like to know what's happening.

"Babies are unpredictable but having support around me the second time around made me feel prepared. I always had chocolate bars to hand for the midnight feed."

Now, as Nell and Nora are growing up together so closely in age, Camilla reveals her favourite thing is to watch them play and interact with each other.

"I love that they're close in age. It's adorable to see them interacting with each other." Camilla explains. "They've got completely different personalities but are always laughing away with each other.

"I’m so excited to think about all the fun times that are ahead of us. We feel really lucky as a family."

Sustainability, Camilla admits, is also something that's important to her as a mum and she tries her best to pick out baby products that help the environment.

The star has recently paired up with baby brand MAM, who specialise in protecting babies health while minimising the impact their products have on the environment.

Camilla said: "I want the best for my babies but I also want to help the planet. After all, it's the world they'll grow up in. Making sustainable choices when it comes to products can be challenging though, so having a brand that offers it makes it something that is possible for all of us."
