Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel: Contestant returns for third chance<\/h3>\n

The Wheel has been slammed as \u201ca fix\u201d by viewers after the same contestant kept getting selected to play in the final round.<\/p>\n

The format of the show sees one player left standing to try and win the jackpot.<\/p>\n

However, if they fail to answer the question correctly with the help of a celebrity expert, they are sent away and one of the three contestants – including the one who was just playing – is randomly selected to come forward.<\/p>\n

Saturday night\u2019s show saw playing Chris fail and reappear twice, eventually winning on his third attempt.<\/p>\n

He was hoping to win money to pay for his wedding, but viewers were not very supportive claiming that it was unfair that he had been afforded so many opportunities.<\/p>\n

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, @KimboPops raged: \u201cThey ought to change the last round, bit unfair that he got three tries I bet it was because he’s getting married #thewheel.\u201d(sic)<\/p>\n

@DarioCJK2 was equally vexed: \u201cThree chances to play… popped up quicker than the wheel below had time to stop\u2026 yea a fix #TheWheel.\u201d(sic) @RhodesWbafc didn\u2019t beat around the bush, writing: \u201c#TheWheel should be called ‘The Fix’.\u201d(sic)<\/p>\n

@alan_martin_A1 felt it wasn\u2019t very fair writing: \u201c#TheWheel #TheWheel needs a revamp, the same player shouldn\u2019t just keep getting the chance at the money. The money question should be rotated fairly. #bbc.\u201d(sic)<\/p>\n

@Muppetfrog73 was also outraged for the other contestants fuming: \u201cI hope the other 2 contestants beat the c**p out of the producers of this unfair show… the unfairness spoils a fairly entertaining quiz #thewheel.\u201d(sic)<\/p>\n

@KTics90 chimed in: \u201cMost rigged game show of all time #thewheel.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last night The One Show\u2019s Alex Jones claimed to be an expert on CBeebies, Paralympian and Strictly Come Dancing star Ellie Simmonds on swimming, TV presenter Paddy McGuinness on karate, Good Morning Britain\u2019s Ranvir Singh on politics, podcaster Rosie Ramsey on musicals and comedian Seann Walsh on Batman.<\/p>\n

As Chris emerged through the floor for the first time, host Michael McIntyre said: \u201cYou are going to play with one of our experts to win money to go towards your wedding this year.\u201d<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, he failed on his first question and was relegated only to reappear for a second chance before eventually winning \u00a312,500 on his third attempt and a question about which country has hosted the Eurovision Song Contest the most.<\/p>\n

Express.co.uk has contacted the BBC for comment.<\/p>\n
