MTV<\/i> has unveiled the nominations for this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards, featuring international artists who dominated the music charts this past year.<\/p>\n
Taylor Swift<\/b> leads the pack with seven nods, including Best Artist, Best Song and Best Video. Olivia Rodrigo<\/b> and SZA<\/b> follow closely with six nominations each, and are also in the running for Best Artist, Best Song and Best Video. <\/p>\n
Doja Cat<\/b>, Maneskin<\/b>, Miley Cyrus<\/b> and Nicki Minaj<\/b> are all tied with 4 nominations each, including Best Song and Best Artist.<\/p>\n
This year’s nominees include 26 first timers, including BTS<\/b>‘s Jung Kook<\/b>, who has three nominations \u2014 his first MTV EMA nod as a solo artist. Fellow newcomers Central Cee<\/b>, FLO<\/b>, Ice Spice<\/b> and PinkPantheress<\/b> also have three nods each, and Asake<\/b>, Coi Leray<\/b>, Metro Boomin<\/b>, NewJeans<\/b>, Peso Pluma<\/b> and Renee Rapp<\/b> nabbed two nominations each.<\/p>\n
The 2023 MTV EMA will have a brand-new category called Best Afrobeats.<\/p>\n
This year’s award ceremony will be held at Paris Nord Villepinte on November 5.<\/p>\n
