Network Rail<\/span><\/span><\/span> has warned the public to stop ‘gambling with their lives’ after releasing a spree of heartstopping videos which include children dancing on crossings, parents letting toddlers roam on tracks and teens brazenly throwing bikes onto the railway.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n MailOnline has compiled several videos released in the last 15 months after distressing footage last week captured the moment <\/span><\/span><\/span>a couple perilously stopped to pose on a train track in Berkshire<\/span><\/span><\/span> where trains pass at up to 100mph.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Among the footage released in the last year are several near-misses where pedestrians and motorcyclists are seen cheating death as they narrowly escape being mowed down by oncoming trains.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Another clip uncovered by MailOnline shows two teens recklessly throwing a pedal bike onto the tracks\u00a0at Cross Gates station in Leeds. Network Rail reiterated that the ‘railway is no place for games, and it certainly isn\u2019t a playground’.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n One pedestrian came within feet of a high-speed train on the West Coast main line after ignoring a red warning light<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Other bizarre footage shows a group of children playing and dancing on the railway in Grove, Oxfordshire, forcing the driver of a 125mph express train to apply the emergency brakes<\/p>\n One pedestrian came within feet of a high-speed train\u00a0on the West Coast main line after ignoring a red warning light.
