Gardeners\u2019 World presenter Monty Don has revealed his pet pooch Nellie was buried in a similar manner to that of an Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh.<\/p>\n
Discussing the emotional process of laying Nell to rest, Monty told BBC Radio 5 Live’s Nihal Arthanayake that her body was surrounded by her favourite things<\/p>\n
The horticulturalist recalled: \u201cWe buried her in her bed, wrapped in one of my jackets.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd we put her favourite biscuits in, and tennis balls, and I picked all the flowers we could from the garden.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cLike an Egyptian Pharaoh,\u201d host Nihal suggested.<\/p>\n
