Sam Quek has had her say on the Football Focus debate, saying that “things move on” and isn’t worried about the weekly BBC show disappearing.<\/p>\n
Speaking exclusively with Express.co.uk, Sam weighed in on the recent row that occurred on Twitter between former Football Focus presenter Dan Walker and current host Alex Scott over viewing figures.<\/p>\n
Dan posted a tweet on X, formally known as Twitter, saying it was “hard” to see Football Focus “struggling” amid reports of declining views.<\/p>\n
However, Sam believes that “times change” and that everyone is getting information from different platforms.<\/p>\n
“We have to realise now that people get that information from so many different platforms,” she said.<\/p>\n

And I think the generation coming through they only watch YouTube or Netflix or Amazon Prime.”<\/p>\n “So no I’m not worried. It will always have an audience.<\/p>\n “But I think you always have to put everything into perspective. Things just move on. Times change.”<\/p>\n Alex Scott, who replaced Dan on Football Focus in 2021, seemingly didn\u2019t take his tweet too well as she quickly fired back in the comments section.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n\n
