Most of these bottles cost around \u00a33.50 to buy individually &#8211; totalling \u00a384 &#8211; so I thought it was great value too.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>DRINKS: 10\/10<\/li>\n<li>VALUE: 9\/10<\/li>\n<li>OVERALL SCORE: 9\/10<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>The Fever Tree Gin and Tonic Advent Calendar<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a365,\u00a0ocado.com<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/b361d747-157d-4057-803a-902b58cbe304.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>A good midrange option with 12 gins and 12 tonics inside.<\/p>\n<p>I loved the range of flavoured tonics, which included Elderflower, Spanish Clementine and Rhubarb and Blueberry, as well as the 12.5cl bottles of gin, which include Tarquin&#x27;s Cornish Dry Gin, Pink Pepper, Sloe and Edinburgh Classic. <\/p>\n<p>The only downside is that each day only has one of each so you&#x27;ll have to save your gin and tonic for every other day this festive season. <\/p>\n<p>It&#x27;s well-priced though &#8211; we worked out the contents to cost around \u00a355 if you bought them individually, so you&#x27;re only paying a tenner for the novelty festive calendar.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>DRINKS: 8\/10<\/li>\n<li>VALUE: 8\/10<\/li>\n<li>OVERALL SCORE: 8\/10<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Sandford Orchards&#x27; Cider Advent Calendar<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a375,\u00a0sandfordorchards.co.uk<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/sandford-orchard-s-advent-calendar-852262449.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>A great way to ease yourself into the festive spirit, this 24 day calendar allows you to discover a new cider every day made by Sandford Orchards, a craft cider maker in rural Devon.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Unlike many of the alcohol calendars we tried, it was great to have a full 24 day set and we loved the taste of most of them. <\/p>\n<p>Ciders include favourites from their award-winning range such as Wilde Cherry, Old Blossom and Devon Red. <\/p>\n<p>A real treat at the end of a busy, cold December day. <\/p>\n<p>A mixed case of 12 bottles would cost you just under \u00a330, so the mark up wasn&#x27;t too bad either. <\/p>\n<p>But be\u00a0warned, it is incredibly heavy to lift!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>DRINKS: 9\/10<\/li>\n<li>VALUE: 8\/10<\/li>\n<li>OVERALL SCORE: 9\/10<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Naked Wines<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a389.99,\u00a0nakedwines.co.uk<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/naked-wines-advent-calendar-sun-852262348.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>The last thing you want for advent is 24 days of disappointing wine and you certainly won&#x27;t get that here. <\/p>\n<p>There are some exceptional wines among the 24 included here, including a flavourful chardonnay from South Africa and a rich cabernet from Chile.<\/p>\n<p>You should know there are no actual doors to open, and no bottles. <\/p>\n<p>Instead, each 100ml serving of wine comes in a cardboard carton arrange in numerical order. <\/p>\n<p>This makes it lighter to move than most of the other boozy calendars and it&#x27;s ideal if space is tight. <\/p>\n<p>The wines were delicious and you are bound to find a new favourite as you work you way through these. <\/p>\n<p>In fact, I would have loved a bit more of each.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>DRINKS: 9\/10<\/li>\n<li>VALUE: 8\/10<\/li>\n<li>OVERALL SCORE: 9\/10<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Whisky 12 Dram Advent Calendar<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a379.95,\u00a0drinksbythedram.com<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/519b6db7-2d43-48ad-b6f5-0260404d9896.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Whisky calendars can be incredibly expensive &#8211; we saw some worth over \u00a3500!
