Stacey Dooley, 36, has been referred to as Kevin Clifton’s “now wife” on a podcast, sparking rumours the pair may have married in secret.<\/p>\n

The Strictly Come Dancing winner recently said marriage wasn’t important to her as she joked about Kevin’s past weddings, but has she had a change of heart?<\/p>\n

Ahead of a resurfaced interview on Simon Mundie’s podcast Life Lessons, the host said in a pre-recorded introduction: “We are halfway through Strictly Come Dancing season 2023. So what better time to revisit my conversation with ex-Glitterball champ and Strictly favourite Kevin Clifton.<\/p>\n

“Kev is a lovely bloke and I have two clips from our chat here… The second is about his experience on Strictly, finishing second on numerous occasions before winning with his now wife Stacey Dooley.”<\/p>\n

The phrase was also mentioned in a description of the show on the podcast’s website.<\/p>\n

It states: “Kevin was runner up on four occasions while on the show, which triggered some of his old competitive wounds, before finally lifting the trophy with his now wife Stacey Dooley. How?<\/p>\n

“Clearly the chemistry didn’t hurt – but nor did his change in outlook and willingness to surrender rather than feel the need to achieve a specific outcome.”<\/p>\n

Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for Stacey and Kevin for comment.<\/p>\n

The pair got together after winning the Strictly Come Dancing Glitterball back in 2018.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, they welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Minnie.<\/p>\n

The documentary maker recently spilled that she had no intention of marrying Kevin, 41, as she poked fun at his previous marriages.<\/p>\n

In an episode of Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over, the 36-year-old shared: \u201cMarriage has just never been massively important to me.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd obviously, it\u2019s very well documented Kev\u2019s done it a couple of times before, so you do have to bear that in mind.<\/p>\n

“Coming down the aisle, \u2018Hello everyone, I know what you\u2019re all thinking’.”<\/p>\n
