<\/p>\nAnne Hart, the widow of the late Ronnie Corbett, has passed away aged 90.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Announcing the sad news on Monday, her daughter\u00a0Sophie Corbett, 55, said she died ‘peacefully, surrounded by her family’ in the early hours of Sunday morning.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In a tribute, Sophie said: ‘We lost my darling Mum at one o’clock in the morning.<\/p>\n
‘She was an amazing woman, and my sister Emma and I, and all four of her grandchildren, Tom, Tilly, Dylan and Billy, will love and miss her for ever.<\/p>\n
‘We will be bringing her home to Abingdon, near Croydon, which is where the family lived when my Dad was alive.’<\/p>\n

The actress had recently been treated for a hip fracture at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh after suffering a fall at the family estate Muirfield Wood.<\/p>\n
Anne and Ronnie celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 2015. The couple share two daughters, actresses Emma and Sophie Corbett.<\/p>\n
Ronnie passed away in 2016 at the age of 85,\u00a0with fans hailing him ‘the small man with the huge talent’.<\/p>\n
The comedian – who was best known for his appearances alongside Ronnie Barker in The Two Ronnies in the 1970s and 80s – was praised by friends and fellow stars for his comic timing, his storytelling and his ability to laugh at himself.<\/p>\n
The entertainer, who had previously recovered from two bouts of ill health, had been unwell in the months leading up to his death.\u00a0<\/p>\n
A statement from his publicist at the time said: ‘Ronnie Corbett CBE, one of the nation’s best-loved entertainers, passed away this morning, surrounded by his loving family. They have asked that their privacy is respected at this very sad time.’\u00a0<\/p>\n
