If you suffer from Acrophobia – a fear of heights – this is not the shop for you.<\/p>\n
A small hut is attached to a cliff face in China and has captured the imagination of many on socialk media, with one dubbing it an “inconvenient convenience store”.<\/p>\n
It is 120m (394ft) above the ground in the Shiniuzhai National Geological Park, in Hunan province, which attracts rock climbers from around the world.<\/p>\n
The tiny shop is made of wood and nailed to the vertical rock and it takes climbers 90 minutes to scale up to the little shed where they’re rewarded with a free bottle of water.<\/p>\n
The store is restocked by workers who reach it by zipline. It only has space for one member of staff at a time, according to Sky News.<\/p>\n
READ MORE: <\/strong> Hiker who fell off cliff saved after boss calls him to ask why he is late[CLIFF] <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n It is understood the shop opened in 2018 and offers climbers a range of\u00a0drinks and snacks, which they can pay for with cash or via a mobile payment app.<\/p>\n Travel writer Matthew Keegan said: “Perched 330ft high on a cliffside, the convenience store offers climbers water, energy drinks, biscuits, energy bars, bread and Red Bulls for those that need a refresher midway.<\/p>\n “The convenience store is not the only impressive construction that calls the park home.<\/p>\n “It is also known for its 900ft-long\u00a0glass-bottomed suspension bridge, which is aptly named \u2018Haohan Qiao\u2019, meaning \u2018Brave Men\u2019s Bridge\u2019 in English.”<\/p>\n The Shiniuzhai National Geological Park is one of the most popular tourist spots in China, with climbing trails, waterfalls, cable car rides and historical sites.
