Sarah Ferguson looked regal as she attended this year’s Red Cross Charity Event in Rome in a vibrant purple gown.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Duchess of York opted for a pop of colour for the event, donning the floaty purple dress complete with sheer arms, ruffled wrist cuffs and a high neck.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Sarah paired her floor-length gown, which also featured a relaxed neck tie, with a pair of black and gold heeled boots.\u00a0<\/p>\n
This was Sarah’s second appearance in a matter of days, after she was pictured attending\u00a0The Wolseley City Inaugural VIP Dinner in <\/span>London\u00a0on Tuesday.<\/p>\n Having the made the trip over to Italy for last night’s Red Cross event, Sarah was also seen re-wearing her diamond-encrusted ‘Eugenie’ bracelet.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Sarah Ferguson looked regal as she attended this year’s Red Cross Charity Event in Rome in a vibrant purple gown<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Duchess of York opted for a pop of colour for the event, donning the floaty purple dress complete with sheer arms, ruffled wrist cuffs and a high neck<\/p>\n The duchess looked glam having styled her red tresses in loose waves and\u00a0finished off the look with a pair of pearl drop earrings, several subtle diamond bracelets and a black wrist watch.<\/p>\n Sarah,\u00a0popularly known as Fergie, opted for minimal make up for the event with a natural lip and a touch of mascara.\u00a0<\/p>\n During the photo call, Sarah was pictured smiling and laughing with film producer\u00a0Tiziana Rocca and tycoon\u00a0Hormoz Vasfi.<\/p>\n The Duchess was also all smiles as she posed for photos on Tuesday at The Wolseley City’s VIP event – which was attended by VIPs including Duran Duran’s Nick Rhodes and Pink Floyd’s Nick Mason.<\/p>\n Royal photographer\u00a0Hugo Burnand was also pictured at the glitzy event, as was former Tory MP Rory Stewart.<\/p>\n The Wolseley City opened this autumn – as a ‘younger sister’ to the historic Mayfair eatery in London’s Piccadilly – and is located in the city’s Square Mile.<\/p>\n It comes after Sarah called\u00a0her daughters <\/span>Princess Beatrice and <\/span>Princess Eugenie her ‘biggest cheerleaders’ and praised their support since her <\/span>cancer diagnosis.<\/span><\/p>\n The duchess\u00a0found out she had breast cancer following a routine screening and underwent a successful single mastectomy in June.<\/p>\n ‘My two wonderful daughters are my wholehearted cheerleaders, my devoted champions and my soulmates, and they have been as supportive as can be, as they always are,’ she told PEOPLE.\u00a0<\/p>\n Her comments came the day after she opened up about her experience for the first time as she made her debut as a Loose Women\u00a0panellist on November 2.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n During the photo call, Sarah was pictured smiling and laughing with film producer Tiziana Rocca<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Tiziana Rocca, Sarah Ferguson and Hormoz Vasif attend the photocall ahead of the Red Cross Charity Event on November 9<\/p>\n The mother-of-two was on the programme to launch its inaugural ‘Don’t Skip Your Screening’ campaign, highlighting the importance of attending mammogram appointments.\u00a0<\/p>\n Fergie credited her sister, Jane, for urging her to attend the routine screening, which she otherwise would have cancelled.\u00a0<\/p>\n The V Foundation for Cancer Research unveiled the Sarah Ferguson V Scholar Grant for Breast Cancer Research, in honour of the Duchess, on 30 October.<\/p>\n Sarah will join forces with the V Foundation Scientific Advisory Committee to select a research grant recipient by the end of 2024.\u00a0<\/p>\n The project complements her commitment to supporting cancer patients,\u00a0survivors, and research as patron of the Teenage Cancer Trust and<\/span>\u00a0the work of her foundation Sarah’s Trust.<\/span><\/p>\nREAD MORE: Sarah Ferguson calls Beatrice and Eugenie her ‘soulmates’ and ‘biggest cheerleaders’ as she praises their support since her cancer diagnosis\u00a0<\/h3>\n
