Thomas, 54, William, 52, and Rachel, 48 (pictured in 1980)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/11\/09\/01\/70482569-12727613-Michael_has_previously_given_an_insight_into_his_marriage_to_Hel-a-36_1699494712205.jpg\" height=\"497\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Michael has previously given an insight into his marriage to Helen (pictured in 1993), with his loving comments resurfacing following the devastating news of his wife&#8217;s death<\/p>\n<p>He weighed in on the Israel-Hamas war, saying: &#8216;It makes me feel horribly depressed really because when people set out to kill and slaughter others I just find there can be no justification for that on either side.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;And I don&#8217;t know how you stop it once it starts, war is pretty horrible.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Also we&#8217;ve got disasters like the Turkish earthquake and again lots and lots of people suddenly homeless&#8230; We are very, very lucky to have so much.&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The DEC has said it is &#8216;deeply concerned for the safety and well-being of civilians caught up in the deadly intensification of violence in Israel and Gaza&#8217;
