He was!<\/p>\n<p>Although I don\u2019t have a physical \u2018type\u2019, I thought Julian was very good-looking, with dark hair and a nice smile.<\/p>\n<p><span>Easy To Talk To?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>He was charming and friendly, if a little shy. I found myself asking most of the questions, but that was quite refreshing. Julian listened to what I had to say, and I was interested in his stories, too.<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s well travelled and was telling me about visits to Spain, Italy and Greece \u2014 places I\u2019ve always wanted to go.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He was interested in my family\u2019s psychic abilities, particularly the story about my grandmother predicting her own death just weeks before she died in her sleep.<\/p>\n<p><span>Embarrassing Moments?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>I was ages in the loo because the zip on my trousers got stuck. I think he felt the same, but I\u2019m not sure. I am good at sensing people\u2019s energy \u2014 although women are often easier to read than men \u2014 but Julian had a positive vibe around him.<\/p>\n<p>We wanted to continue talking so had a wander around the shops after our meal. I was touched that he saw me into a taxi before we said goodbye. Although I didn\u2019t fancy her straight away, she looked like a nice person who I\u2019d get on with.<\/p>\n<p><span>Easy To Talk To?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>We broke the ice by saying how weird our blind date experience was.<\/p>\n<p>Because we are both in the same kind of industry \u2014 modelling and acting \u2014 we talked about work and our hopes for the long run.<\/p>\n<p>My goal is to see as much of the world as possible, with a career where I don\u2019t dread work each day.<\/p>\n<p>Halima also wants to travel, but I got the impression that while I\u2019m happy to rough it in hostels and really experience the culture of a country, she\u2019d be more comfortable in four- and five-star hotels.<\/p>\n<p>She said staying in a hostel would be her worst nightmare.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond work and travel, we didn\u2019t find much common ground.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m close to my family but she\u2019s not close to hers, so the conversation was awkward at times. After the date, she asked if I wanted to go for a walk and I was happy to wander around the shops.
