<\/p>\nFROM the outside looking in Helen Flanagan is clearly a mum who dotes on her three young kids. <\/p>\n
She regularly shares candid snaps of family time with her one million Instagram followers.<\/p>\n
\n<\/p>\n
But when the 33-year-old Corrie actress dared to share snaps of herself wearing a sheer lace bodysuit recently – leaving little to the imagination – she was quickly called out, and the comments were cruel.<\/p>\n
One wrote: "Love you but pics have become a bit desperate . You are beautiful, don\u2019t need to look cheap . You have kids they don\u2019t need to see this . Respect yourself."<\/p>\n
And another blasted: "Ur choice but tacky. U were doing so well before ur split then another boob Job. U do u obvs but cheap. MY OPINION ONLY. Sure the lads love it."<\/p>\n
It isn't the first time Helen, who has kids Matilda, eight, Delilah, five and Charlie, two, with ex partner and Bristol Rovers midfielder Scott Sinclair, 34, has been called out for her behaviour – but it seems she couldn't care less.<\/p>\n
Here, NIKKI WATKINS and parenting expert Liat Hughes Joshi, look at all the ways she gets mum slammed and why – and reveal how Helen has come out fighting.<\/p>\n Her choice of clothes are usually a hot topic among haters with disapproving comments about her \u2018tacky\u2019 dressing.<\/p>\n Helen has hit back at her critics with responses including: "I don't believe women should comment negatively about other women.<\/p>\n "I enjoy seeing women feeling glamorous and feeling empowered and dressing how they want to dress\u2026 I will bring up my daughters to be kinds(sic), beautiful women the (sic) support other women with god (sic) morals and girls code.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Liat argues that Helen is entitled to wear whatever she likes: \u201cWe shouldn't be declaring what a mum \u2018should\u2019 wear and look like just because she\u2019s a mother – being a parent doesn't mean you need to wear a certain kind of clothing," she says.<\/p>\n \u201cHelen\u2019s an actress and an influencer – a bit of sexy clothing now and then is often part of the job.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cShe can\u2019t switch that off just because she\u2019s got kids. And at least she\u2019s out there making a living for her family.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019d offer a word of caution to wearing revealing gear on the school run though as the kids might get teased, but I doubt very much she is wearing underwear at the school gates."<\/p>\n Helen jokingly branded herself an "idiot" over her decision to allow her two daughters to travel by scooter around the Trafford Centre Manchester, while she enjoyed a shopping trip.<\/p>\n She wrote on Instagram about the parenting fail: "What idiot lets their kids out on scooters at The Trafford Centre?"<\/p>\n Liat agrees: \u201cSorry Helen but kids zooming about indoors is deeply annoying for the rest of us.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cIt's easier for parents and makes that trip to the shops faster, but this needs to be balanced with sparing a thought for others who are walking around avoiding your children.<\/p>\n \u201cBut Helen already admitted this was a mistake, as she isn\u2019t generally an inconsiderate mother and now understands scooters are for parks and school runs, not inside shops and cafes.\u201d<\/p>\n Helen came under fire for sharing a clip of son Charlie, then two, having what she described as a: \u201cmega tantrum.\u201d<\/p>\n A follower blamed her for causing the outburst.<\/p>\n The furious message read: "You\u2019re why he has tantrums Helen the same as Delilah has tantrums. You are so overbearing and in their face all the time. I bet they don\u2019t have tantrums like that when they\u2019re with Scott and his mum (sic)."<\/p>\n Defending herself, Helen shared some of the comments on her story writing alongside them: "Very strange some comments on Instagram. As a mum I want my kids to feel really loved and happy and safe\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n Liat says: \u201cHelen is probably trying to show the reality of being a mum to other parents.<\/p>\n \u201cShe does need to bear in mind that this could cross the line and invade her son\u2019s privacy.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cWhen sharing your kids\u2019 lives on social media, whether you\u2019re a celebrity or not, you have to think ahead to what they will make of the posts in 15 years time.\u201d<\/p>\n Helen was mum-shamed once more after sharing cute snapshots of her playing with her kids – with a glass of wine in her hand.\u00a0<\/p>\n Mean comments included: "Ok drinking & being drunk whilst looking after children is not on (sic)."<\/p>\n Helen didn't acknowledge the comments. <\/p>\n Liat says it's time the 'mum police' backed off: \u201cHelen happened to have a glass of wine, but there\u2019s no suggestion she was drunk, despite what the mum police seem to think," she adds.<\/p>\n \u201cGive the woman a break, she\u2019s just doing what many of us do at the end of a busy day with little ones – having a nice glass of wine to wind down.\u201d<\/p>\n The mum of three faced judgement from fans after sharing a snap of herself and daughter Matilda wearing identical dresses.<\/p>\n Social media followers weren't impressed with the twinning fashion, with one writing: "It\u2019s starting to look like your kids are just an accessory."<\/p>\n Helen didn't address the comments but fans jumped to her defence:"What a great job you are doing. Even considering the shenanigans everyone goes through with kids!!!", wrote one.<\/p>\n Liat agrees with Helen\u2019s supporter. <\/p>\n She says: \u201cIf Matilda is happy to wear the same as her mum, what\u2019s not to like?<\/p>\n \u201cPlenty of little ones would love to do this, as they idolise their mums. As long as Helen\u2019s not forcing her into outfits that she hates, and she respects Matilda might not always want to be her mini-me, it\u2019s really not a problem.\u201d<\/p>\n Even something as harmless as dressing the kids in matching festive pyjamas triggered nastiness – and decorating her Christmas tree in mid-November also went down badly.<\/p>\n One wrote sarcastically: "Finally up mid November. Hahahaha."<\/p>\n Another scolded: "Surely it\u2019s not a novelty to decorate your own tree?\u201d<\/p>\n Helen kept a dignified silence on this occasion.\u00a0<\/p>\n Liat says: \u201cI don't think any mum should be criticised for wanting to make their kids happy, and this is clearly what Helen is doing by bringing the Christmas excitement forward. I wouldn\u2019t go so early with the Christmas decs, but it\u2019s her choice.\u201d<\/p>\n Helen got glammed up over summer and took her son Charlie out for dinner and posted a cute video on Instagram of what she called their \u201cdate night.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n But she was then slammed for \u2018force feeding\u2019 the mite.\u00a0<\/p>\n One critic wrote: "Poor kid, how much food are you trying to ram in his mouth, give him a chance."<\/p>\n While a third added: "Why are you ramming so much food into his mouth???"<\/p>\n In Helen's defence, Liat says: \u201cI think the critics need to ease off \u2013 it\u2019s just a sweet, light-hearted night out for a mum and toddler son to enjoy time together.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cShe is being kind by helping him eat, and she knows how much he can handle.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cOne-on-one time with a little one is something all children really value and benefit from.\u201d<\/p>\n As the comments reveal there's plenty of fans who think the actress is a great mum – keep being you Helen. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n![](\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/RW-COMP-Girl-Band-Rich-list.jpg\")
