AN essential energy-saving gadget is returning to Aldi stores tomorrow and it\u2019s the perfect thing if you're hoping to keep the heating off this winter.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The budget store confirmed it will be releasing its sell-out Silentnight heated throw again this week in time for Christmas.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The \u00a339.99 energy-saving gadget causes a frenzy each time it returns to shops.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Shoppers have been reviewing the winter gadget on Facebook. <\/p>\n
When one user asked if anyone knew when the electric throw would be coming back in stock, others said it was well worth the wait.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
One user said: \u201cThis is what I need.\u201d<\/p>\n
Another said: \u201cGot mine from The Range last year Love it. Central heating doesn\u2019t go on as much.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThese are amazing, I used mine a lot last year. Cheap to run,\u201d said a third.\u00a0<\/p>\n The electric throws are approximately 120cm by 160cm and come with a 3.6-metre cable plus a detachable controller.<\/p>\n You can feel secure as the throw features overheat protection and a three-hour auto-off function.\u00a0<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Aldi reckons the electric throw will cost you just 3p an hour. \u00a0<\/p>\n Checkatrade estimates that the average cost of running your heating per kilowatt-hour is around 7p.\u00a0<\/p>\n For a 24kW boiler that's about \u00a31.68 an hour so this is much cheaper.\u00a0<\/p>\n You will have to head into stores if you want this gadget as they won\u2019t be available for online delivery.\u00a0<\/p>\n You can use the Aldi store finder tool to locate your nearest Aldi store.\u00a0<\/p>\n Always make sure you shop around to see if you can find the item for a better deal elsewhere.\u00a0<\/p>\n You can buy the Silentnight heated throw directly from the Silentnight website in navy, grey or blush but they won\u2019t come cheap.\u00a0<\/p>\n Each fleece throw is priced at \u00a345.\u00a0<\/p>\n Other retailers have electric throws for a similar price, Argos currently has a heated throw for \u00a350, and it boasts a nine-hour timer and six heat settings.\u00a0<\/p>\n Lakeland has a Black Friday deal on their electric heated throw and it's now down to \u00a353.99, from \u00a389.99.\u00a0<\/p>\n The Range has a Divante electric Blanket for \u00a344.99 or a Teddy Sherpa electric blanket for \u00a349.99.\u00a0<\/p>\n Prices vary by brand, size and retailer so it's worth having a browse elsewhere before you make a decision.<\/p>\n It\u2019s especially worth checking if you can spot an electric heated throw or blanket in the Black Friday sales.<\/p>\n There are a few other things you can do to keep warm this winter without breaking the bank.<\/p>\n Get yourself a\u00a0hot water bottle, they are always great for a cost-free way of keeping warm.<\/p>\n Don't forget about preventative measures, draught-proof your home and seal your windows to stop air coming in.<\/p>\n Prices for\u00a0draught excluders\u00a0start from a fiver in most stores but a thick blanket rolled up will work just as well.<\/p>\n Loft insulation is also very important as it can stop heat escaping, therefore slashing your heating\u00a0bill.<\/p>\n You can buy insulation from all local builder merchants or retailers such as\u00a0B&Q\u00a0and Wickes.<\/p>\n Do you have a money problem that needs sorting?
