GRACE DENT was famed for her ruthless critiques on MasterChef, until her star rose even higher on I'm A Celebrity.<\/p>\n

The food critic has now left the I\u2019m a Celebrity jungle, telling her campmates she misses home – and no doubt her partner Charles.<\/p>\n

Grace Dent has not spoken out much about her partner, Charles, but when she has she has had nothing but praise.<\/p>\n

The journalist met Charles while working in Liverpool, and had common acquaintances.<\/p>\n

In an interview on Kate Thornton's White Wine<\/span> Question Time<\/span>, she even said she asks herself 'how did I pull this off' when thinking about their relationship.<\/p>\n

She said: "With my man, Charles, I think almost every day whenever I look at him 'How did I pull this off?'<\/p>\n

"Because before we got together, I used to follow him on Instagram, and he followed me and there was at least 24 months where I used to just look at his photo and go 'He's so pretty'.<\/p>\n

When was Grace Dent on I'm A Celebrity?<\/h2>\n

Grace Dent joined the I'm A Celebrity cast in November 2023, alongside big names such as Brexiteer Nigel Farage, all-star jockey Frankie Dettori and This Morning<\/span> presenter Josie Gibson.<\/p>\n

She entered the show in a terrifying way – on the new version of the iconic Walk the Plank challenge called Pole Position – with Sam Thompson, Danielle Harold and Fred Sirieix.<\/p>\n

If this wasn't enough, Grace endured some horrific trials throughout her short time in the jungle.<\/p>\n

She was gunged and covered in guts in November 24's instalment of the show, where she went up against Nella in a trial. <\/p>\n

Grace was forced to get medical attention after an insect found its way into her ear, but it was flushed out by medics.<\/p>\n

However, after a week in the jungle, Grace decided to say her goodbyes and return home.<\/p>\n

She left on 'medical grounds' with a spokesperson from I'm A Celebrity saying: "Unfortunately Grace Dent has left the show on medical grounds.<\/p>\n

"She has been a great campmate and will be missed by her fellow celebrities and viewers alike."<\/p>\n

A source told The Sun: \u201cGrace was having a tough time away from her family and struggled with the lack of sleep<\/span> and good food. But more than anything she was really pushed to the brink by the gruelling trials this year.<\/p>\n

"The\u00a0Scarena series\u00a0meant the celebrities were all taking part in more challenges than ever and Grace had just had enough.\u201d<\/p>\n
