IF you\u2019ve tried everything to get rid of condensation on your windows and nothing has worked, you\u2019ve come to the right place.<\/strong><\/p>\n With the temperature dropping, more and more of us are bound to find condensation in our homes.<\/p>\n But if the age-old techniques of using salt or cat litter just aren\u2019t shifting it, here\u2019s another simple trick that you\u2019ll want to try.<\/p>\n A cleaning fan who is known online as \u2018Blooms Abode\u2019, took to social media to reveal how she gets rid of condensation in her home, leaving many impressed.\u00a0<\/p>\n And don\u2019t worry, you won\u2019t need to go out and splash the cash on a pricey dehumidifier either.<\/p>\n The brunette beauty explained: \u201cCondensation and mould tips – no gadgets needed.<\/p>\n \u201cYou NEED this.\u201d<\/p>\n The first thing that this cleaning whizz recommends is: \u201cOpen your curtains and blinds in the morning.\u201d<\/p>\n Secondly, she encouraged her followers to leave a ''pot of bicarb on the window sill.\u201d<\/p>\n Baking soda, also known as bicarbonate of soda, naturally de-humidifies high-moisture rooms, while also banishing pesky smells. <\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n If you\u2019ve run out of baking soda and want to give this hack a try, you\u2019ll find some for as cheap as 65p in Tesco or Asda.<\/p>\n In the third and final step, she used the Astonish Mould and Mildew blaster.<\/p>\n She continued: \u201cUse a mould spray once every two weeks to keep at bay.\u201d<\/p>\n The spray can be used on other problem areas in the home, including shower curtains, bathroom tiles and grubby grout. <\/p>\n For just \u00a31.50, you can find the spray in your local Sainsbury's. <\/p>\n The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @blooms_abode, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it was shared just 10 hours ago, but has quickly amassed a whopping 59,100 views.\u00a0<\/p>\n But social media users were divided at the hack – while some were impressed, others weren\u2019t as convinced.\u00a0<\/p>\n One person said: \u201cDo you just leave the bicarb on the window for a while?\u201d<\/p>\n In response, the cleaning enthusiast confirmed: \u201cYes eventually it\u2019ll go hard so just change it then.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n Meanwhile, another added: \u201cJust buy a dehumidifier, pennies to run, no more condensation.\u201d<\/p>\n However, the cleaning guru clapped back and wrote: \u201cFor every room? That would be expensive. I have one in my utility where I dry clothes.\u201d<\/p>\n A third commented: \u201cAny tips for windows that aren't double glazed? As I have the old single glazed ones and if I spray anything on it the paint will come off.\u201d<\/p>\n The cleaning whizz then replied: \u201cThe only thing I would suggest is a window vac?
