A fashion fan named Charlie revealed that she was shopping in Primark in Manchester, when she spotted a grey coat that caught her eye.<\/p>\n

Charlie liked the 50% wool blend coat, but was not a fan of the \u00a360 price tag.<\/p>\n

Stunned at the price of the coat, Charlie took to social media to alert other shoppers.<\/p>\n

She claimed: \u201cScreaming, crying, throwing up. Who do Primark think they are?\u201d<\/p>\n

As she showed off the coat, she continued: \u201cI\u2019m just in Primark at the moment and what in the actual Zara pricing is this?<\/p>\n

\u201cSo I saw this coat and I was like \u2018oh that\u2019s actually quite nice<\/span> for Primark, that\u2019s actually a half decent coat, I would wear that\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cI come to look at the label – \u00a360?!<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sorry but does no-one else remember when Primark coats used to literally cost like \u00a310?\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Charlie later explained: \u201cI bought my coat in Zara for the same price last month!!\u201d<\/p>\n

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @charlie.paddy just 19 hours ago, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed 285,100 views.<\/p>\n

But social media users were divided at the clip – while some were disgusted at the price, others thought it was justified for the wool material.\u00a0<\/p>\n

One person said: \u201cPrimark has become so expensive that I will never shop there . Better off spending the extra bit of money to get way better quality elsewhere.\u201d<\/p>\n

Charlie then replied: \u201cIt\u2019s crazy!! I got a coat in Zara for the same price.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another added: \u201cWhat is the cost of living pricing is this!!! Primark you were supposed to be there to see us through the hard times, not put us in a hard time!\u201d<\/p>\n

A third commented: \u201cWhat has my actual life become when I\u2019m being priced out of PRIMARK?!\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, someone else penned: \u201cI agree Primark prices have gone up but that cost is 50% wool. That would be \u00a3150+ less where. Real wool is pricey but awesome!\u201d<\/p>\n

A second chimed in: \u201c\u00a360 for a wool jacket is not bad.\u201d<\/p>\n

Whilst another shopper claimed: \u201cDid you realise it\u2019s not made out of polyester but mix wool? They had to make it more expensive.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the same time, a fashionista wrote:\u201cOkay but it's 50% wool.\u201d<\/p>\n

In response, Charlie replied: \u201cThe other 50% better be solid gold.\u201d<\/p>\n

Charlie later explained: \u201cI used to love my \u00a320 primark hauls.The material is deffo better but I\u2019d 100% rather pay that price somewhere else!\u201d<\/p>\n
