You could be paid to watch Great British Bake Off and eat cakes
Sometimes we all wish our jobs were more of a piece of cake.
This autumn you're in luck, as you could be paid to stuff your face.
If you're a fan of Great British Bake Off then you're sure to be intrigued by this sweet job role.

As the hit baking show returns in September, many budding chefs are getting excited.
It's become so popular there are 40,500 searches each month for the "Great British Bake Off" in the UK alone, and an average of 90,500 monthly Google searches for the "Great British Baking Show" in the US.
Nobody likes a soggy bottom, but pretty soon we'll get to see some beautiful buns rise once more.
From bread week to chocolate week, the show covers everyone’s favourite treats, but social media users are always left torn over which treats look the best.
So, to finally put the very British argument to bed, experts at Big House Experience are currently hiring someone to taste and rate a variety of baked treats and report back their findings.
All you have to do is watch the newest season of the Great British Bake Off, and stuff your face while doing it.
The lucky applicant will be paid £500 – they'll receive £100 to purchase the goods/ingredients to make their own treats and £400 for completing the job.
Then they'll need to sample each of the baked goods listed and rate them based on taste, appearance and overall satisfaction.
To ensure the candidate is up-to-scratch on their baking terminology, they are also required to watch the latest season of the Great British Bake Off for research purposes.
This makes it a pretty sweet deal all in all.
Cakes and bakes that need reviewing are:
- Victoria sponge
- Scones
- Welsh cakes
- Shortbread
- Pasties
- Crumpets
- Sticky toffee pudding
- Eccles cake
- Bakewell tart
- Chelsea buns
- Sausage rolls
- Pork pies
The only job requirements are the chosen person must be able to get themselves to and from a shop to purchase the required goods, have access to a streaming device to watch the show and (importantly) have a sweet tooth and an obsession with all things quintessentially British.
Gareth Allen, director and founder at Big House Experience, said: "As a company, we love to celebrate all the best bits of Britain and British culture – the Great British Bake Off is no exception.
"It is so great to see how the show gets fans around the world interacting on social media and debating who should have been star baker and what they think the ‘showstopper’ should have been.
"So, we want to hire someone to discover the top-tier baked goods, and finally answer the great British debate that we see every year that GBBO comes onto our screens."
Applications close on September 25, and you can enter here.
