During his amateur career, Adeleye studied at the University of Wolverhampton before graduating in 2019.

In 2013, he became a Junior ABA champion, before going on to win the Senior ABA Novices in 2017 and the Senior ABAs the following year.

He also represented England in an international against Denmark in 2018.

Adeleye's boxing career has since since him fight on the Fury bill at Wembley stadium, before becoming WBO European champion with a second round stoppage of the previously unbeaten Dmytro Bezus.

The boxer has also become a regular in the training camps of heavyweight king Tyson Fury.

The British prospect was first drafted in by the Gypsy King before he went on to knock out Deontay Wilder in 2020.

And Adeleye has been part of the furniture ever since, so much so in 2022, it was revealed that he drives one of Fury's several motors.

Speaking of Adeleye, Fury previously said: ''David Adeleye is the future of this division.

"I told him the other night in the changing rooms, I said, ‘You’ve got believe in yourself Dave, because you’re going to take over the division, mate.'

“And he’s great sparring, very very good sparring. If he was no good to me, then I wouldn’t bring him into my training camps.

"But he gives excellent work, so I keep bringing him in – ever since the second Wilder fight. I keep bringing him in time and time again.

"He keeps learning, keeps listening and he can be the next Lancaster Bomber I think for sure.''

Now, Adeleye is set to return to the ring once more.

Before Fury and Francis Ngannou's highly-anticipated Saudi showdown on October 28, 2023, fans will get the chance to see Fabio Wardley put his title on the line against David Adeleye.

The pair previously came to blows during a press conference in September.

As of October 2023, the professional boxer boasts an impressive 60.6k fans and followers on Instagram – where he shares snaps of his latest boxing bouts.
