ITV fans convinced I’m A Celeb task had ‘last minute shake up’ as Nella Rose is ruled out of tonight’s Bushtucker Trial | The Sun

VIEWERS of I'm A Celebrity have been left convinced that last night's Bushtucker Trial featured a last minute shake-up all because of Nella Rose.

Fans have been left assured there was something 'fishy' about last night's Fishy Business task involving YouTuber Nella, 26, and Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson.

Many viewers of the ITV show called out the task for being 'too easy' for Nella due to the limited contribution she had in the challenge.

Her participation comes after a string of trials for the influencer which has seen her take on more tasks than any of her fellow campmates.

However, fans think the show was involved in a last-minute shake-up in order to make the trial easier for Nella.

Some thing it was made a two-hander at the last moment given the fact it could have easily been completed by one individual and the hosts Ant & Dec.

In the task, Nella was underwater with her head in a glass box full of water spiders for the duration of the trial.

She read out questions to co-star Sam who had to swim to the correct answer – displayed by seven different critter-filled boxes.

It saw Nella with little to do and the YouTube personality even admitted to her fellow campers that Sam did all the hard work.

Arguing that the producers made the decision in order to make the task easier for Nella, one fan hit out on X – formerly Twitter.

They said: "Wait nella just has to sit in a box and read questions????

"They've definitely toned down her parts because she just keeps quitting."

Nella had previously quit two trials early – something ITV bosses are often keen to avoid.

Echoing similar thoughts, another penned: "I reckon it was meant to be a one person challenge but the Producers switched it at the last minute and decided to bring Sam in.

"Nella did absolutely nothing #ImaCelebrity Producers have decided to go easy on her."

Before someone else added: "[Not] voting for Nella to do the next trial again because these lot are just toning them down for her."

It comes hours after fans blasted the programme for giving her an 'easy ride' and labelling the trial 'highly unfair'.

Her poor performance in the trials has sparked much debate online.

The online personality has seen herself ruled out of tonight's trial on 'medical grounds' alongside Nigel Farage and Tony Bellew.

Instead, fans picked This Morning star Josie Gibson and food critic Grace Dent to take on the Down the Tubes task tonight.

Since the vote, MasterChef star Grace has quit the show and left the camp on 'medical grounds'.

Instead, former EastEnders star Danielle Harold will take her place after receiving the third highest number of votes.
