James Argent SLAMS Matt Hancock and reveals cruel way he upset Celeb SAS stars | The Sun

RUTHLESS Matt Hancock hid food and refused to share with those suffering around him on reality show Celeb SAS Who Dares Wins, according to his co-star James Argent.

The ex-Towie star opened up about taking part in the tough series with the former Health Secretary and noted Matt was "always pleasant" but said he looked after number one.

Arg, 35, told The Sun: "He is very tactical and very competitive.

"There was times where I was desperate for a bit of a banana, and he said that he didn't have any bananas left or something, and he was stashing little things for energy and stuff like that.

"I caught him with things like that."

Arg admitted he was one of the celebs who struggled the most on the gruelling course and mentally he was broken.

But he revealed some stars were kinder than others.

He singled out model Daniella Lloyd as being "really lovely" and a "motherly figure".

He added: "She was taking care of me a little bit, and she was being nice and trying to push me."

Arg wasn't the only one who spotted Matt's antics, as Danielle previously told The Sun: “There were times when it came to the food and he would get like a big mass of food and take more than one portion.

“I was fuming but didn’t say anything.”

Comic Zoe Lyons said: “There were times when I did look at his dish, and think, ‘Yeah, yeah.’

“Nobody ever mentioned it but over the course of the day, you do start to notice people’s traits.

“The food was awful. There was just enough to go around to everyone.

“There were no seconds, so if you’ve taken your seconds with your firsts, you know what I’m saying? There’s a reason why there were no seconds.”

It wasn’t just grub that Matt, who filmed for the Channel 4 show before he took on I’m A Celebrity, smuggled.

He also hoarded medical supplies like sticky tape used by physios to support ailing muscles.

Zoe added: “He always seemed to have all the medical tape.

“Like, ‘where’s the medical tape? Matt’s got the medical tape?

"He’s got ALL the medical tape?

"He only gives it to his friends… Alright, fair enough’.”

It was a rough ride for Matt, who was branded “a f***ing ostrich” and “a complete and utter buffoon” by the Directing Staff in the interrogation room on the show.

Grilling Matt about his affair with an aide during lockdown, DS Chris Oliver yelled: “The rules that we had established as a country to follow, you think – you know what? I’m above this.
