Brit-based poker pro wins ‘biggest EVER’ online jackpot after playing 27hrs straight in dingy fizzy drinks-filled attic | The Sun

A POKER pro has scooped a whopping £2.2 million after playing for 27 hours straight from his dingy attic.

Surrounded by fizzy drinks and snacks, Bert Stevens won the "biggest ever" jackpot in his career at the World Series of Poker online event.

Bert played for an exhausting 27 hours with breaks at the highest-paying online tournament in history, local media reported.

The London-based poker pro played his way to victory from a tight, windowless attic.

The room is just about spacious enough to fit a small dining table with a couple of monitors, an office chair with destroyed cushioning, a modest shelving unit and a fan.

Exposed brick walls add an improvised look and feel to the "gaming studio".
