Jeremy Clarksons scathing four-word response to Chris Packham as row heats up

Jeremy Clarkson has hit back at Chris Packham with a scathing four-word response after the BBC star slammed the Clarkson’s Farm presenter’s latest take on national treasure Sir David Attenborough.

Taking to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, on Sunday evening, Chris blasted Jeremy in front of his 626,800 followers.

The 62-year-old Autumnwatch star penned: “Not content with fantasies of throwing s*** over members of the royal family, he now slams the worlds greatest broadcaster and the man who has done more than anyone has or ever will to protect life on earth. (sic)

“What a massive cockchafer!” he added, making reference to the name of the beetle species he’s worked with on television.

Jeremy’s complaint mainly centred around Planet Earth presenter Sir David’s choice to regularly mention climate change’s impact on the natural world he observes.

The former Top Gear presenter, 63, chose to fire back at Chris this afternoon, criticising him in view of his own eight million X followers.

In a blunt, four-word response, he simply put: “It’s world’s. Not ‘worlds’.”

The pair’s row comes after Jeremy criticised Sir David’s latest series of Planet Earth in his Friday column for the Sun.

“Like most people, I’ve been glued to the third series of Planet Earth. But unlike most people, I hate it,” he wrote at the time.

He then went on to insist that Sir David’s words were driving him “insane”, explaining: “There used to be a time when Sir Attenborough would tell us all about the animal he’d found.

“Where it lived. How it mated. How it built a house… it was fascinating.

 

“[But] now all we ever get is: ‘Here’s a see-through fish with an orange stomach, and it’s future is threatened by climate change.’

“And then it’s: ‘Here’s something with pointy teeth and soon it will be wiped out by global warming.’

“We know already. So please, in future, tell us about the animals, not the bl***y weather.”
