McDonald's reveals winter menu shake-up adding five new items plus the return of the Chicken Big Mac | The Sun
MCDONALD'S has revealed its winter menu for 2023 and it includes five new items.
The fast-food chain is also bringing back two beloved favourites – the Chicken Big Mac is one of them.
Maccies is adding the items to all UK and Ireland menus from November 22.
Among the new sweet and savoury treats landing from Wednesday is the never-before-seen Big and Cheesy burger, plus the Big and Cheesy with bacon.
Also launching for the first time is the Galaxy Caramel Pie, a fresh take on the classic apple pie.
Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without a festive McFlurry – the chain is introducing a new variation on its Galaxy ice creams.

If you're not a fan of change don't worry because there are some returning favourites too, the Chicken Big Mac and the Cheese Melt Dippers are back.
Fancy giving these items a go? You'll need to be quick as they're only sticking around for six weeks until January 3.
The new Big and Cheesy burger is made up of a large 100% beef patty, two slices of cheese, red onions, and crispy onions.
It's all topped in a cheese sauce and sandwiched between a toasted flour-dusted bun.

You can buy the burger on its own for £5.49 or £7.29 as a meal with a side and a drink.
If you're looking to take it up a notch though, why not give the Big and Cheesy with bacon a go to.
Fans can grab it for £6.29 by itself or £8.09 as a meal.
Coming back for a third time is the sell-out Chicken Big Mac which has proven a huge hit with fans since it first debuted in 2022.
It's a twist on the iconic Maccies Big Mac with its triple-layered bun, two chicken patties, a slice of cheese, lettuce, pickles – and of course the Big Mac sauce.
The burger costs £4.79 for a single and £6.59 for a meal.
Back again for the festive season are the popular Cheese Melt Dippers, made with Camembert and served with a rich tomato dip.
You get four in a pack for £2.59 or £6.89 for a Sharebox of 15.
Not only that but the McDonald’s Chicken Combo is also hitting restaurants for the first time.
This festive feast was launched on delivery platforms earlier this month and includes 10 Chicken Selects and a 20 Chicken McNuggets Sharebox.
For those of you with a sweet tooth, there are three sweet treats to choose from this festive season.
Fans of the axed Chocolate Pie and the soon-to-be axed Toffee Apple Pie will no doubt be excited to give the new Galaxy Caramel Pie a try.
It's a Galaxy-flavoured caramel sauce encased in a crispy chocolate pastry and costs £1.99.
There are two new Galaxy McFlurrys as well, one swirled with chocolate sauce and one with caramel, and both are topped with Galaxy stars.
Both cost £1.49 for a mini-size and £1.99 for a regular.
McDonald's new menu follows the launch of McDonald’s Festive Wins promotion, which kicked off on November 1.
It gives fans the chance to bag offers and prizes each day of November including Big Macs and cash.
It offers 17 chances to grab your favourite menu items for as little as 99p, all available exclusively on the McDonald’s UK App.

How do I find my nearest McDonald's?
If you're planning on taking a trip to McDonald's, you'll want to know where your nearest branch is.
The chain has a restaurant locator tool on its website you can use to find your nearest one – and check what time it opens.
Bear in mind that McDonald's serves breakfast every day until 11am.
After that, the menu switches to the normal menu serving meals such as burgers, chicken nuggets and more.
How can I save on my McDonald's order?
There are plenty of ways you can save on your next trip to McDonald's.
You should choose your branch wisely – menu prices can vary across different restaurants just a couple of miles apart.
We've seen Big Mac meals up to 30p cheaper before, which added up over the course of a year could save you a fair few pounds.
You can also get freebies on your birthday if you've got the My McDonald's app.
Remember to log your date of birth on the app though, otherwise, you'll miss out.
You can get a Big Mac and fries for just £1.99 as well if you fill out the quick feedback survey following your last visit.
All you'll need is your receipt which should have been issued no more than 60 days after your visit.
A 12-digit code will be printed on the proof of purchase and then you can enter the McDonald's Food for Thought website to fill out a quick survey.
