Arteta talks on ban
Arteta has spoke on his touchline ban after he received too many touchline yellow cards.

"If you look strictly at the rules, yes you can't do that"

'Arteta has caused himself a problem'
TalksSPORT present Jamie O'Hara has told Grosvenor Sport that Arteta has caused himself a problem by signing David Raya.
He said: "For me, Aaron Ramsdale was a really solid goalkeeper who was only going to get better, and he had a good season when they finished second in the league last year. The next season, he signs David Raya who, in my opinion, isn’t any better than Ramsdale.
"His distribution might be a tiny bit better, but he can’t come for a cross and he’s got shots going underneath him all the time. I don’t see how he’s a better goalkeeper than Ramsdale and I can’t see how Arteta’s got that one right.
“He’s actually caused himself a massive problem – he’s now annoyed Ramsdale, who has to pretend to the cameras that he’s happy he’s been replaced. He can sit there and smile all he wants, but inside, they’ve got it all badly wrong. Ramsdale should be starting and Raya shouldn’t be in the team, because he’s having a nightmare at the moment.”

Arsenal should consider Kyogo – Pat Nevin
Chelsea legend Pat Nevin has said that Arsenal should sign Kyogo Furahashi from Celtic this January.
He told Best Gambling Sites: "Kyogo Furuhashi is still the name that comes to my mind when thinking about SPL players who Premier League clubs should look at.
"Kyogo hasn't had anywhere near as good a season as he did last year, but he's playing in a different role.
"Furuhashi is a natural goalscorer. His movement is great, too. He might not score a lot of goals in a rubbish team, but he'd score a barrel load in a good one. A team like Arsenal might be tempted to take him.
"Many people dismiss the Scottish League. They did that with Van Dijk when he was at Celtic, but you have to look beyond that and look at the technical ability. Kyogo can play at the highest level."

Ramsdale situation to be sorted in the summer
Aaron Ramsdale is unlikely to leave Arsenal in January, accordig to David Ornstein.
Providing anupdate on Arsenal's no2, Ornstein said: "I don’t think Arsenal would allow a loan – only a permanent & that would need to be at a level of fee that gives the proper finances to play with & I’m not aware of any movement on that front yet.
Of course2, Ramsdale wants & needs to be playing, but I hear, unsurprisingly, that he has been training well & a model pro. Ideally for Arsenal, this would be addressed in the summer."

Ivan Toney blow
Arsenal face a potential transfer blow in their bid to sign Brentford star Ivan Toney in January.
That is because the Bees might further raise Toney's price tag due to a major injury blow of their own.
Bryan Mbuemo was withdrawn during Wednesday's Premier League clash against Brighton due to an ankle injury.
Brentford would thus be a lot more resultant to sell Toney if Mbeumo ends up sidelined for a significant amount of time.

Keane praises Arsenal
Manchester United legend Roy Keane praised Arsenal for picking up "ugly" wins.
The last three games [for Arsenal], the one at Brentford was a 1-0 win, a clean sheet way from home.
It was an ugly game and a tough game, but I always felt they would get a goal in that game, and they did.
Then against Luton, they’re all over the place, giving bad goals away, but still won so they’re winning different types of games even if it’s a bit ugly.

Michael Owen advice
Michael Owen insists Arsenal should go after some of the world's best strikers if they want to win the Premier League title and avoid panic buys like RB Leipzig ace Timo Werner.
Owen spoke to BoyleSports, who offer the latest Premier League Betting
With all due respect, I think that Arsenal need to look at some of the best strikers in the world if they're serious about truly competing for the Premier League and Champions League.
You need the best three of four strikers in the world to win those games, and I wouldn't put Timo Werner in that category.

Roy Keane prediction
Manchester United legend Roy Keane still thinks Manchester City will win the Premier League title this season but Arsenal can't be ruled out.
If you asked me to put a bet on it I’d still go Manchester City [to win the league], but if I was in Arsenal’s camp – and this was before their result against Luton [Town] – you’d be looking at City now and with the improvements Arsenal have made, you compare their squad to last season, I’d be more encouraged this year.
Last year I wasn’t budging on City, even when Arsenal were doing really well and City were having their little poor spell. But this year, I’d be just a bit more cautious [of Arsenal].
They’re a stronger squad, and obviously City are off it, but they can come back. They’ve done it before, we wrote City off two or three years ago, they played a derby against [Manchester] United and they were dreadful.
We felt have they lost hunger and they went and won the league easily. I wouldn’t be writing them off.

Arsenal target Gyokeres
Arsenal are keeping tabs on Sporting Lisbon star Viktor Gyokeres ahead of the January transfer window.
According to Record, the Gunners are keen on Gyokeres as they are looking for a striker.
However, Sporting are reluctant to let the 25-year-old leave mid-season.
That is why the Portuguese giants may demand a whopping €100million (£85.5m) for the Sweden international.

Dennis Bergkamp return
Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp has opened the door to an emotional return to the Emirates- after declaring his aim to end a six-year exile from football.
I'm itching to get back into football once more. I don't think I am good enough to be a head coach, as I don't think am sufficiently interested to want to manage everything.
I respect people who can do this, but I prefer a different role – in between the youth squad and the first team. I find the best job to be in developing players. My role in acting as a bridge for youth-team players in getting to the first eleven suited me the best.
That was also the way I used to play – between the lines!I was neither a striker nor a midfielder. I found this to be a great job while I was at Ajax.
I saw the young prospects coming through, discussed them with the youth coaches and the academy head, and I also had the ear of the head coach.
I hope for a similar role in the future if I get back into football – and I think it will happen. This is one of my chief ambitions, as I think it is something I can do well.

Rio Ferdinand prediction
Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has predicted Arsenal will have another close Premier League title race with Manchester City.
I don't think they've actually got to the levels of last season yet, performance wise, and look where they are.
They aren't even playing particularly well or as well as we've seen them consistently and they're still top of the league. They're a problem.

Guardiola Pep talk
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has vowed to "retire" if he repeats the Treble and takes away another Premier League title from Arsenal.
If we win the treble this season, I'll retire. That's for sure. I know it is extremely difficult, how many incredible teams have been in England.
And just one with Sir Alex Ferguson has done it and ourselves last season.
When we spoke, prepare well for the first game and how we try to do it and then the second and now the third.
We will see our level and the competition itself dictates your level, the opponent dictates, the challenge is higher but in September, October, November, thinking about the title, forget about it.

Emi still a Gooner
Arsenal fans believe Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez is "still a Gooner" following his clean sheet against Manchester City.
Villa clinched a 1-0 win over City after dominating the match on Wednesday.
The Argentina international, who won the Yashin Trophy at the Ballon d'Or ceremony last month, put on a stellar display to keep the Treble winners at bay.
But the 31-year-old's stand-out moment came in the 11th minute when he pulled off an outstanding double save.
After Phil Foden split the Villans' defence with a clever pass through to Erling Haaland, the keeper managed to stop the star striker's close-range shot before parrying the ball away.
However, Bernardo Silva latched onto the rebound and crossed the ball back to Haaland in the six-yard box.
With the Norway international looking almost certain to score, Martinez got back across his line to make a second save.

David Raya slammed
Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher claims Arsneal goalkeeper David Raya is one of the Premier League's biggest transfer flops this season.
The biggest disappointments in the Premier League so far this season would be the two goalkeepers at Manchester United and Arsenal – Andre Onana and David Raya.
They’ve been quite poor after coming in as 'improvements' from the previous keepers, and it’s almost stayed the same or even gone backwards with them coming in.

More from Wright
Arsenal legend Ian Wright phoned up Tony Adams after remarks he made claiming the former striker was often late.
I phoned Tony up and said, ‘What am I hearing, what are you talking about?’ I said something like, ‘That stinks’.
I wasn’t late where people were waiting on me. I had to come from Croydon to St Albans – I left in the morning on time, I wanted to make sure I was punctual, it’s one of the things I hate more than anything else.
When I heard that, I was devastated and he apologised – I don’t want that story out there because that is not what I’m about, I hate lateness.

Wright on Adams
Arsenal legend Ian Wright revealed how he confronted fellow great Tony Adams over remarks he made claiming the striker was often late.
Speaking on The Overlap, brought to you by Sky Bet, Wright was discussing recent comments from Nemanja Matic regarding lateness being an issue amongst stars during his time at Manchester United.
That led to the former striker recalling: “I remember listening to Tony Adams on a show, it was starting to get really ‘laddy’.
“Tony told a story about George Graham, and then Arsene Wenger, having to change training because of my lateness.
“What Tony is implying is that I’m so late, so many times. You’re going to say to me that I’m late so many times that Graham and Wenger have to change training?”

That's Fer real
Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand confessed that he would have gone for Arsenal star Declan Rice in the summer if he was the one in charge instead of Erik ten Hag.
Declan Rice, I said it before Man Utd he was the player I would’ve 100 per cent gone and got.
You could argue there’s midfielders with more ability than him but I would argue that it’s only Jude Bellingham that comes near him.
In terms of being able to get into a dressing room and get the respect of that dressing room on day two, three, four, straight away.
That’s why I thought he more than anybody it was important that Man United should’ve gone and got and they allowed Arsenal to go and get him.

Arteta against Ramsdale move
Arsenal bossMikel Arteta has ruled out a potential January move for Aaron Ramsdale, who has been linked with Newcastle and Chelsea.
I am very happy to have two very, very good goalkeepers and Aaron is staying with us.
I want him with us.
Like every other player, he wants to play for Arsenal and we want to be better as a team, so we want to add to what we already have in January and that is our intention.

Arsenal eye Palhinha
Arsenal have joined the bidding war for Fulham star Joao Palhinha ahead of the January transfer window.
According to The Telegraph, numerous Premier League teams are after Palhinha including Liverpool, Manchester United and the Gunners.
Bayern Munich are also likely to come back for the midfielder they almost landed in the summer transfer window.
But the North Londoners need to sell players before they buy more in January.
That is why Thomas Partey could be sold in the New Year with Juventus showing strong interest.

Arsenal star could be costly
Chris Sutton has claimed David Raya's mistakes could cost Arsenal the title.
He told the Daily Mail: "The one thing from Arteta's perspective, and this Raya-Ramsdale debate: Will his stubbornness to carry on with David Raya in the position they're in, could that cost them the title at the end of the season?
"I just don't get it. I know what happened at the start, he was hinting there would be an even spread of games amongst both goalkeepers but the other night I thought there was a couple of huge errors.
"He can't keep making those errors if Arsenal want to win the Premier League."
