Coventry hope to pip Championship rivals for Hammarby star with hefty transfer offer | The Sun
MARK ROBINS has joined the chase for Hammarby centre-half Nathaniel Adjei.
The Coventry boss has funds and hopes to beat off rivals Preston.
Adjei, 21, will cost a hefty fee.
But Championship side Coventry are hoping to make an offer that gives his Swedish club something to ponder.
They want around £3million for the Ghanaian.
Elsewhere, Nottingham Forest transfer chief Ross Wilson checked on Middlesbrough’s Hayden Hackney playing for England Under-21s.

Midfielder Hackney — who opted for England after winning Scotland caps — has caught the eye.
And the 21-year-old impressed again in this week’s 3-0 win over Northern Ireland.
We first revealed back in September that Forest were targeting the Boro ace as they look to add more domestic players.
Wilson watched him live in action back then and now Forest could move in January or even wait until the summer.

Meanwhile, Luton Town are snapping up promising striker David Kamara from National League South side Welling.
Kamara, 17, has impressed Hatters scouts at youth level.
And now he will be taking the big step to the Premier League.
Welling team-mate Ollie Godziemski, 17, is also moving up the ladder.
His talents have been spotted by Colchester United, who set to bring him to League Two.
The young forward has had trials at Blackburn Rovers and Stockport in recent months.
