United looking to extend Aaron Wan-Bissaka's contract
The Telegraph report that Manchester United have entered talks to extend Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s contract.
After a tough period, the 25-year-old has re-established himself as the Red Devils' first-choice right-back.
The defender has just 12 months remaining on his current deal and the feeling is a renewal would be a long-term one.
He currently earns £100,000-a-week but the club would be willing to increase this in a new deal.

Man United suffer worst day EVER on stock market
United shares fell by a record amount following rumours that the Glazer family are going to take the club off the market.
The club has been trading on the stock market since 2012 and the latest falls make it the worst day for Man United's shares in its 11 years as a public company.
Shares for the Old Trafford outfit fell by a whopping 21 per cent after the news broke that the Glazers may not sell, before bouncing back slightly to end 18 per cent down.
The changes saw the club's market cap fall by an unbelievable £550million – leaving the club's current market value at around £3.3billion.
The new valuation is a far cry from the rumoured asking price that has been set by the Glazer family during their negotiations to sell.
It is claimed that the Glazers want close to £10BILLION in order to sell the Red Devils.
They had been trying to sell the club since November, but despite long negotiations with potential buyers Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe neither have met their valuation.
According to the Daily Mail this has led to the long-loathed owners taking the club off the market in hopes of a future sale instead.

Sofyan Amrabat injury
Manchester United loan signing Sofyan Amrabat joined Erik ten Hag's side with a back injury.
According to The Athletic, United detected a minor back injury during Amrabat’s medical earlier this month.
The midfielder revealed he received pain-killing injections just to play in the 2022 World Cup Last 16 against Spain.
The Morocco international has not played all season, but not because of his injury.
Instead, the 27-year-old was left out because the Viola needed him to make a decision on his future.

New takeover date
Manchester United's takeover may finally be completed in two months.
According to 90min, Raine Group, who are overseeing United's takeover on behalf of the unpopular Glazer family, set a new deadline of November to conclude the process.
However, there is currently no concrete evidence the process will be sorted out in the autumn.
According to the Daily Mail, the Glazers refused to sell because neither bidder met their £10billion valuation.
Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani appeared to be the favourite to complete a full takeover ahead of Sir Jim Ratcliffe who was looking for majority ownership with the Glazers holding a minority stake.

Sancho left behind
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has left Jadon Sancho to stew after heading off on holiday following their public war of words, reports SunSport's Charlie Wyett.
Sancho was one of the few players training at Carrington, with most United team-mates off on international duty.
Ten Hag and his coaching staff have taken a short break and thus the winger, whose career at Old Trafford hangs in the balance, is unlikely to see the Dutch tactician until next week.
The England international has yet to speak to the 53-year-old head coach after his extraordinary attack on the manager on Sunday night.
Afterthe 3-1 loss to Arsenal, Ten Hag revealed the ex-Borussia Dortmund star had been axed from his squad because of his “performances in training” and the player strongly denied that.

On the Wayne
Manchester United legend and DC United boss Wayne Rooney has admitted he is “disappointed and frustrated” that he has not spoken to club bosses for two months as his future hangs in the balance.
I am slightly disappointed and frustrated there has been no contact for two months. We asked about a new deal. We can sit down and talk about it. We haven’t heard back.
Either way, I can take whatever the situation is. I was hoping we would have, either way, at least spoken about it. That hasn’t been the case. We asked to sit down and speak because planning for next season needs to go ahead.
So we asked two months ago where everything was at, are we moving forward or not moving forward — if that’s the case from their point of view — and we haven’t heard back.
That’s frustrating because, either way, I’d rather know what’s the plan because we have to plan for next season. We need to do it earlier rather than later.
The fact we haven’t heard back is probably signalling one thing, but I’m sure they’ll have their reasons for that. So I’ll wait and see.

More on Amrabat
Manchester United were forced to pay twice as much for Sofyan Amrabat’s loan move from Fiorentina.
As part of the deal, United will pay an £8.5million loan fee, but the deal would have cost less had Erik ten Hag’s team not played hardball.
According to The Athletic, negotiations last week saw the Viola demand a £4.25m loan fee.
However, when the Red Devils only offered just over £2.5m, the Serie A giants informed them the deal was off.
Negotiations later resumed, but with the Italians now demanding an £8.5m loan fee.
The Manchester giants were able to reach an agreement close to those terms on Friday, with the deal worth a total of £30m, including a £17m option to buy.

Jadon Sancho link
Chelsea were interested in landing Manchester United ace Jadon Sancho this summer.
That was before Sancho took to social media on Sunday to deny claims made by United boss Erik ten Hag regarding his training performance.
According to the Daily Mail, the winger was lined up for a shock move to the Blues at the start of summer transfer window.
However, the report suggests the West Londoners pulled the plug because they “were concerned about his mindset” and instead moved for Cole Palmer.
The England international has been tipped to still leave this summer, however only a handful of countries’ transfer windows remain open – among them Saudi Arabia and Turkey.

Arsenal fan Law broke his nose clashing with Sky Sports pundit Keane, The Sun revealed on Monday.
The 42-year-old appeared to headbutt the United great when he cheered a goal from his old team against the North Londoners.

Roy Keane altercation latest
The real reason Arsenal fan Scott Law allegedly headbutted Roy Keane is being investigated after the reported attack left blood on the stadium's floor, reports SunSport’s Harr Goodwin.
Law broke his nose clashing with Keane, The Sun revealed on Monday.
Now it is alleged that the 42-year-old was fuming after the Manchester United legend cheered from the punditry studio when his former club briefly went ahead through Alejandro Garnacho’s 88th minute strike – before it was disallowed for offside.
Witnesses report Law confronted Keane after Sunday’s Premier League match before launching a bungled headbutt which hit him in the shoulder.
The impact apparently broke his nose, with Keane unhurt but “a bit shaken”.

One Schol of thought
Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has named Casemiro as the one current player that would have made it into his Red Devils side.
It's difficult because we had such a brilliant squad of players. But… you think of Casemiro. Once he came into that team last year, there was a huge difference.
The experience he had from Real Madrid, winning trophy after trophy in the best team. How it took him so long to get into the team I'll never know. But he's in there now.
I don't know if some of those players could have played in our team. Marcus [Rashford] was brilliant, [but] I don't know.

Hojlund addresses Casemiro shove
Manchester United ace Rasmus Hojlund has broken his silence on his heated altercation with team-mate Casemiro.
He [Casemiro] just said something in Spanish: 'Vamos' or something like that.
He was happy that I gave the team perhaps a slightly different dynamic than what you get from [Anthony] Martial.
He’s maybe a little more technically strong and looks down the gaps where I like to take the fights.
After all, he hasn’t seen me play before, so he told me he was pleasantly surprised to see me play.

Mason Greenwood's loan club Getafe has been slammed as "tone deaf" after the Manchester United striker was filmed signing autographs ahead of his launch.

One fan had already got his hands on a replica of the ex-England international's No12 shirt, which he wore back-to-front as he hugged the striker.
The 21-year-old will be officially presented to fans along with Getafe's other summer signings at the Coliseum stadium in Madrid at 7pm local time tonight.
The club's enthusiastic welcome for Greenwood has been widely condemned on social media.

Savage on Sancho
Robbie Savage urged Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag and Jadon Sancho to resolve their "awkward situation" and advised the club to put an "arm round him".
Savage told Planet Sport Bet:
The transfer window is now closed everywhere other than Saudi Arabia and I can’t see Jadon Sancho going there so now they have to think about how they get the best out of him.
You put your arm round him, develop him and give him encouragement. He looks like a player who needs to be told how good he is and to have an arm round him.
Erik ten Hag and Sancho now find themselves in a very awkward situation and they both have different opinions on it.
They both need to get together and resolve it, but the biggest thing for me is that United need to put an arm round him, develop him and see if they can get the Jadon Sancho that everybody knows, playing at the highest level that he can.
