Big Brother in shake-up tonight with special bumper episode and ‘Hunger Games’ challenge
Big Brother meets The Hunger Games in Sunday night's extended episode, as the housemates go head-to-head to head for a chance at being immune from this week's nominations.
Tonight's episode has been extended by 15 minutes and will finish at 10:15, with some dramatic scenes predicted as the house is still left reeling after Friday night's double eviction saw Paul and Dylan booted from the house.
Following the dramatic eviction, Big Brother has transformed the house into The Hunger Games with housemates becoming 'tributes' who will compete against one another in a series of challenges.
These challenges will result in one housemate being nominated for eviction, while another will win immunity for the week.
The housemates are separated into two 'districts' with District A consisting of Chanelle, Henry, Matty, Noky and Tom and District B made up of Jenkin, Jordan, Olivia, Trish and Yinrun.
They will then take part in a series of challenges which test dexterity, balance, risk-taking, strength and endurance.
Fans have shared their excitement at The Hunger Games themed task, with one writing: "THE HUNGER GAMES COMING TO BIG BROTHER??? OMG??? #bbuk."
"Omg that #BBUK advert with the Hunger Games whistle at the end of it!!! I stopped in my tracks" added another, while a third penned: "I can’t wait! The hunger games is actually my favourite movie #bbuk"
Sunday's episode will also see the divide with the Big Brother house widen even further, following the eviction of Paul and Dylan – which Olivia appears to blame Trish and Noky for.
In a sneak peek at the episode she can be heard saying to Tom: "They did this. Those two girls did this."
Elswhere, Trish predicts that she will face eviction once again, as she jokes: "I’m going to be wearing these dresses again."
And while her comments make Henry laugh they appear to upset Tom, who can be heard complaining: "They’re f***ing giggling right now. I can’t do this."
It comes after Big Brother co-host Will Best revealed that this week's nomination process will be done face-to-face rather than anonymously and in the diary room, meaning the week could be set for even more drama in the coming days.
He told the Late and Live studio audience on Friday: "Next week is going to be spicier than Dylan's chicken. I can reveal that on Tuesday there will be nominations again but – they are going to be face to face!"
