EastEnders Eve’s return exposed after exit — and fans won’t have to wait long
EastEnders fans reckon they have rumbled when Eve Unwin will be back in the square — and it’s not that far away.
The character, played by Heather Peace, has become a firm favourite on the soap since her debut in 2021. Since then, she’s got herself caught up in some rather dramatic storylines.
Over in Walford recently, she started an affair with Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal). The pair ended things but last week, reunited and attempted to leave the square together.

However, the plan was short-lived as Suki’s evil husband Nish (Navin Chowdhry) found out about their affair. And this week, viewers watched as Eve unwittingly walked into a trap set up by Nish.
Eve, believing she was meeting Suki, went to Walford East where she encountered Nish, who aggressively accused her of luring Suki away from him. Nish, driven by rage, attacked Eve with a bottle and left her seemingly lifeless.
He then called on son Ravi (Aaron Thiara) to finish the job and kill her off. Ravi bundled Eve’s body into a car and headed out to the woods, armed with a shovel.
But things took a dramatic turn when Eve fought back and managed to escape. Running through the woods, she was eventually caught by Ravi.
However, just as he was about to kill her, Eve managed to plead with Ravi and they both agreed to come up with a plan. It was decided that Eve would go away from Walford so Nish would believe Ravi had killed her.
If she returned or tried to contact anyone though, Ravi warned her that he would kill her, as well as her loved ones. Appearing to exit from the BBC One soap, Eve then ran off into the woods.
