This Morning shake-up as presenter's rarely seen daughter joins show for cooking special | The Sun

THIS Morning invited Phil Vickery and Fern Britton's daughter Winnie onto the show today to host a cooking segment alongside her dad in Cornwall.

The presenters' daughter, 22, joined her celebrity chef dad on location as the pair explored a local fishing village. 

Phil, 62, introduced Winnie, whose mum Fern was main presenter on This Morning alongside Phillip Schofield.

He told viewers: "I'm back in my favourite part of the country, with my favourite person, my daughter, Winnie."

Fern sensationally quit the ITV show in 2009 after seven years of hosting alongside Schofield.

It comes as Fern was inundated with support after splitting from Phil who went on to date her longtime friend.

Fern, 65, reflected on home life after her split from husband Phil as she revealed Winnie had moved out of home earlier this year.

The presenter and her TV chef ex, 61, announced in January 2020 that they were calling time on their 20 year marriage.

Taking to Twitter, Fern shared in April: "After 36 years of shared living I finally waved au revoir to my youngest as she flew the nest.

"First week of solo living completed.

Fern and her youngest child Winnie moved to the couple's former holiday home on the Cornwall coast after Fern and Phil's split.

Meanwhile, the TV chef lives in Buckinghamshire, and admitted having to travel 270 miles to see his daughter.

Fern also shares twins Jack and Harry, 29, and Grace, 26, with her first husband, Clive Jones, who she was married to between 1988 and 1998.
