Police and fire crews have surrounded a flight which landed at Manchester Airport with reports of a bomb threat.
Manchester Airport has confirmed the Emirates flight EK19 from Dubai, which landed shortly after 7pm, was involved in an incident Greater Manchester Police are now responding to. The flight was seen touching down at the airport where emergency services were waiting.
One woman waiting for a flight at the airport took to X, formerly Twitter, and posted a video showing the large police presence. Officers on the ground awaited the landing of the flight with a bomb threat report confirmed.

They wrote: "Doesn’t look like we are taking off anytime soon at Manchester Airport. Lots of activity on the runway."
The bomb threat is believed to have been resolved and normal operations are set to resume shortly. The plane was cordoned off on the Apron upon touchdown.
Incoming flights were left temporarily diverting themselves to Liverpool according to one flight tracker. One easyJet flight was believed to have been delayed and moved away from Manchester Airport.
Another X user posted: "Planes circling, fire trucks on the runways, flights held up at Manchester airport and nothing about it except on twitter. What is going on tonight."
A third user, responding to The Mirror's report, added: "On a flight that's been diverted to Liverpool, been told airport open now and we are heading to Manchester."
Everything seems "back to normal" now according to one user at the airport. It is currently unclear whether or not the planes rescheduled to other airports are set to land at Manchester.
One user posted: "Lots of planes wheeling around over Derbyshire waiting to land at the moment."
