Spanish school evacuated after pupil started ‘stabbing everyone passing by’
A pupil has been arrested after stabbing their teachers and classmates in a school in the south of Spain.
The horror knife attack took place early this morning at the Elena García Armada Institute in Jerez de la Frontera, according to Spanish police.
As well as two teachers and two fellow pupils being injured in the attack, there are reportedly several more injuries.
According to police sources, the attacker used a knife and a teacher was reportedly injured in the eye.
Enrique Gallego, a journalist from Jerez TV, said sources from the school believe the pupil took out a large knife from his schoolbag after arriving at class this morning.
Then he went “stabbing everyone who passed by.”
The school is currently being evacuated and several ambulances are now present as the victims are being treated at the site of the attack.
